Wednesday, August 31, 2005The Hall family, who have been subjected to a six-year hate campaign by extremists, said they hoped the decision to close the business at the end of the year and return to traditional farming would prompt grave robbers to return the body of 82-year-old Gladys Hammond. Mrs Hammond was the mother-in-law of Christopher Hall, who co-owns Darley Oaks Farm. Her body was stolen from a grave at St Peter's Church in nearby Yoxall last October. I've always suspected animal rights activists have more respect for animals than for humans. (via Bioedge.) UPDATE: They must not have animal rights activists in the Philippines: Wonder if they know that guinea pigs are a common food in my adopted son's area of Colombia? They are delicious...and taste like pigs... My oldest said his original mom used to keep a female and her pups in the kitchen...and when he went to sleep, he could hear them chirping...and when they got "weak" and needed meat, she'd kill a few and stew them up... Of course, the animal rights activists would have a cow (!) if they came here to the Philippines...we eat dog...and have cockfights... posted by Sydney on 8/31/2005 07:35:00 AM 0 comments 0 Comments: |
