Moral Hazards: Someone sent me a link to this New Yorker article on healthcare a while ago, but I stopped reading it after the first couple of paragraphs because I found the dental focus wildly off base. Most people recognize that our country enjoys superior dental health, and yet we pay for more of our dental care out of pocket than we do our healthcare. It just wasn't a persuasive angle. Mickey Kause kept reading, though, and finds the rest of it equally unpersuasive.
