Milk, It Does a Body Good, or Does It? the milk industry is being criticized for overly optimistic milk ads. They're claiming that milk can help you lose weight:

For example, a recent "Got Milk?" ad featuring singer Sheryl Crow reads: "Studies suggest that the nutrients in milk can play an important role in weight loss. So if you're trying to lose weight or maintain a healthy weight, try drinking 24 ounces of low-fat or fat-free milk every 24 hours as part of your reduced-calorie diet."

The studies that suggest that were extremely small, consisting of 30 people. The only food that helps you lose weight is food with few calories. Milk has calories. More calores than Coca-Cola.
