Tuesday, July 16, 2002I know what's inside my daughter. When she was 4, her best friend died of cancer. Other parents wouldn't let their children play with the dying girl, but my daughter held her friend's hand right up to the end. Maybe that’s why this daughter is so troubled in the first place. There’s certainly nothing wrong with allowing a child to play with another terminally ill child, but it was probably going too far to have her at the death bed at the age of four. She’s still dealing with that trauma, how much longer will it take her to live down her latest parent-inflicted trauma? posted by Sydney on 7/16/2002 06:14:00 AM 0 comments 0 Comments: |
