Agony or Ecstasy? I confess to being more than a little puzzled by all the fuss over the recent ecstasy research. Both camps seem to be firmly set in their preconceived notions about the dangers or potential benefits of the drug. One thing is clear - you should never mess with brain neurotransmitters unless you absolutely have to. The consequences can be too grave. Ecstasy appears to have a particularly potent effect on those neurotransmitters. Using it for recreational purposes is just flirting with disaster. posted by Sydney on
