Tuesday, October 15, 2002In the study, patients wore duct tape over their warts for six days. Then they removed the tape, soaked the area in water and used an emery board or pumice stone to scrape the spot. The tape was reapplied the next morning. The treatment continued for a maximum of two months or until the wart went away. To tell you the truth, you can do the same thing with Compound W and Duofilm over the same amount of time and with a Bandaid, although you have to repeat the process nightly instead of weekly. I know, I've used it on my kids with good success (100%), and they didn't have to walk around bound by unsightly duct tape. posted by Sydney on 10/15/2002 07:04:00 AM 0 comments 0 Comments: |
