Tuesday, April 15, 2003The bill approved today sets up no-fault compensation, to be financed this year with $42 million from an Iraq war spending measure. Permanently disabled recipients would be eligible for up to $50,000 a year in lost wages. Partly disabled recipients would collect also that benefit, up to a maximum of $262,000. The government would pay a $262,000 benefit to spouses of people killed by the vaccinations. Spouses with children would be eligible for either $262,000 or $50,000 a year until the children turn 18. Now, here’s the million dollar question. Will the compensation be limited to those suffering known side effects and complications of the vaccination, or will it include those coincidental illnesses like gallbladder disease and heart attacks? posted by Sydney on 4/15/2003 07:53:00 AM 0 comments 0 Comments: |
