World Wide Risk: An interactive world map of pandemic risk. Of all the Western nations, Britain is at highest risk, though their ability to contain it is as good as anyone else's. But the risk of a pandemic occuring there ranks right up there with India and Southeast Asia. The Middle East doesn't fair too well, either, especially in their ability to contain an epidemic once it reaches their borders.
A pandemic of a very lethal disease would certainly change the face of geopolitics. But then, lethal pandemics always have.
