Communicating: A scheduler at a diagnostic center told one of my patients recently that they don't do sonograms, only ultrasounds, so I had to rewrite my order. I guess they're trying to disambiguate their orders. Along the same lines, I had to rewrite an order for a "shoulder film" so it would read "shoulder x-ray" or the diagnostic center wouldn't perform the test. Well, I guess if "shoulder film" can confuse google, it can confuse a radiologist, too.
