Sunday, January 21, 2007But, that afternoon I happened across it by chance at the butcher's shop. It's an eclectic butcher's shop, to be sure, but I still wasn't expecting to find a beer brewed by Belgian Trappist monks. It was too late to make the stew for dinner, but it is a very fine beer on its own. Just wanted to put a plug in for those Trappist monks. And don't forget the medicinal value of beer - both old and new. posted by Sydney on 1/21/2007 12:47:00 AM 2 comments 2 Comments:
Medicinal purposes. Yeah, that's it. By 7:15 AM , atI have become a connoisseur of non alcoholic beers since I stopped drinking 9 years ago. Ssurprisingly, I swear that O"Douls Amber is as good as it gets--I have tried all the imported ones and several others while in Europe--Thanks Frank By 10:04 AM , at |
