Saturday, March 03, 2007far, it's been very mild. I should know. I put aside more openings for acute illnesses in late January and February to accommodate the flu season, and this year many of those slots stood empty. Bad for my bottom line, but good for my patients. Preparing for next year's flu season was surprisingly easy this year, largely due to the lack of hype. Last year, it was extremely difficult to order flu vaccine. Phone lines were busy, and websites overloaded. One manufacturer sold out on the first day. This year, the announcement for pre-booking was done very stealthily. There was no announcement on their website or through other channels. Just a discreet mailing announcing the date. I was able to get through on the first try. Guess they learned they can sell it without the hype. posted by Sydney on 3/03/2007 08:54:00 AM 0 comments 0 Comments: |
