Bird Flu Round-Up: More birds are coming down with the flu in China and Russia, while another Canadian bird has a mild case of the flu.

Thankfully, there are still few cases of human bird flu, and those still limited to people who have intimate contact with birds. Nonetheless, the epidemic in the bird kingdom has spurred the United States to do what the bioterrorism threat has never managed to spur them to - control of border entry. Saudi Arabia, meanwhile, says it plans to allow only fit and healthy Muslims to attend the Hajj, and China has fast-tracked a flu vaccine for testing in people.

Well, no one can accuse anyone of not at least trying to be prepared.
